Teaching Practice Week 1(phase 1)

Day 1(05/08/24)

Today was my first day of teaching practice of B.Ed course. The school allotted for me was Madhava Vilasom Higher Secondary School,Thundathil. Along with me there were 6 teaching trainees. We reached school at 9AM and signed the register then the headmistress gave us guidelines. With morning prayer the class had started. I opted the class 9B and during 3th period I came to the class and creates a good rapport with them. As it is my first class, I was little tensed and nervous but later I built self-confidence and started to teach the 1st chapter. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students. On 3:30PM, after national anthem the school was dispersed and we signed the register and went home.

Day 2 (06/08/24)

We reached the school around 8.50AM and signed the register. The school started with prayer and along with Hiroshima Day celebrations. Students presented their speech regarding the remembrance of that day then poster exhibition was conducted. After that on 3rd period I went to my class.Then we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students. and for the remaining periods I went to take substitute on other classes. At 3.30PM after we signed we went home.

Day 3 (07/08/24)

We reached the school at 9AM and signed the register. The school started with prayer along with pledge. As usual during 3th period, I took class on 9B. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students. During free periods, I went for substitution in few classes and spent the free time with students. On 3:30PM, after national anthem the school was dispersed.

Day 4 (08/08/24)

We reached the school at 9AM and signed the register. The school started with prayer along with pledge. As usual during 3th period, I took class on 9B. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students. During free periods, I went for substitution in few classes and I got a free period on 9B so I took the remaining portion of the chapter and gave notes. On 3:30PM, after national anthem the school was dispersed.

Day 5 (09/08/24)

We reached the school around 8.50AM and signed the register. The school started with prayer and pledge. After that on 3rd period I went to my class 9B and gave the activities and concluded the 1st chapter. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students. For the remaining periods I went to take substitute on other classes that I was assigned. At 3.30PM we signed and after that we went home.
